Supplier Quality Engineer
About this role
Fluidstack seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality management across their supplier base for massive-scale AI compute infrastructure buildout. You'll own supplier qualification, quality standards, and performance metrics while communicating at founder level to ensure procurement remains a competitive advantage rather than a bottleneck.
What you'll do
- Lead supplier qualification, audits, and ongoing performance management for components and data center materials
- Develop and enforce quality control standards, inspection protocols, and acceptance criteria
- Serve as organizational SME on supplier quality, guiding procurement, engineering, and construction teams
- Own quality KPIs and metrics; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to closure
- Represent quality function in leadership reviews and executive escalations
- Support customer executive business reviews and communicate at founder level
