About this role
Join an early-stage, graph-native database company as a Founding Engineer to build memory and context infrastructure for AI agents. You'll own critical infrastructure components including query engines, storage layers, and distributed systems while making architectural decisions that shape the product long-term.
What you'll do
- Design and ship core infrastructure: query execution engine, graph storage layer, and distributed systems components
- Lead architecture decisions with significant product impact alongside the founding team
- Contribute to benchmarking and research efforts that guide technical direction
- Participate in architecture reviews and resolve complex technical trade-offs with production implications
- Mentor and help scale the engineering team as it grows
- Own large, ambiguous problems from conception through deployment
