About this role

A Y Combinator-backed AI logistics startup seeks its first US-based technical hire to lead customer deployments and integrations for AI agents serving trucking and waste management companies. You'll own the full technical success of US customers, combining hands-on engineering with customer-facing support in an early-stage, rapidly scaling environment.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end technical deployments and customer onboarding from kickoff through go-live
  • Serve as primary technical contact for diagnosing and resolving integration and operational issues
  • Integrate the AI platform with customer job management, GPS, and telematics systems via APIs
  • Translate customer feedback and real-world deployment insights into product recommendations
  • Build internal tooling and scripts to accelerate and standardize deployment processes
  • Act as technical advisor to logistics operations teams in field environments

  • Forward deployed engineering or solutions engineering experience
  • Software engineering fundamentals and rapid coding ability
  • SaaS platform integration via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines
  • Technical communication to non-technical audiences
  • Self-directed problem-solving in early-stage contexts
  • GPS/telematics and logistics systems knowledge (nice to have)
  • AI/ML product deployment experience (nice to have)
  • Route optimization and scheduling systems familiarity (nice to have)
