About this role

Join a founding engineering team at a consumer health and wellness startup to build and scale a membership platform, mobile app, and AI-powered agents. You'll own the entire engineering function from launch through growth, working directly with the CEO in a high-ownership, fast-shipping environment.

What you'll do

  • Build and launch a consumer membership web application using Shopify and Recharge, then maintain and improve post-launch
  • Optimize page speed, app performance, and third-party scripts across the storefront
  • Ensure privacy compliance and proper configuration of tracking and consent tooling (CPRA, etc.)
  • Own engineering architecture, stack decisions, security, and database design for the membership platform
  • Lead React Native mobile app development from the ground up with iOS prioritization
  • Design and deploy LLM-powered agents and internal automation tools with monitoring and safeguards
