Founding Product Engineer
About this role
Join an early-stage healthtech startup as a founding product engineer building an AI-native OS for independent nurse practitioner clinics. You'll own major clinical workflows end-to-end, working closely with founders and designers to ship high-impact frontend experiences while shaping backend architecture and APIs.
What you'll do
- Own clinician-facing workflows from concept through production, testing, and iteration
- Collaborate with designers, founders, and clinicians to define product behavior without waiting for finished specs
- Drive frontend architecture and technical direction across provider and patient applications
- Design APIs, data models, and system behavior while primarily focusing on frontend implementation
- Debug complex production issues spanning browsers, APIs, integrations, and infrastructure
- Contribute to engineering culture through code reviews and pragmatic technical decision-making
