About this role

Join a lean fintech startup as a full-stack product engineer building consumer financial tools. You'll own features end-to-end from design through production, working across backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines in a fast-moving environment with daily deploys.

What you'll do

  • Design and build product features end-to-end, including domain models, business logic, and API integrations
  • Drive data-driven iteration and deployment of features toward business milestones
  • Query and analyze system and product performance using SQL and analytics tools
  • Debug and maintain event-driven, pub/sub backend systems and complex state machines
  • Ship code to production daily via CI/CD pipeline and respond to production incidents
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders on high-impact financial features

  • Backend development and end-to-end feature ownership
  • RESTful API design and consumption with authentication and authorization
  • Event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
  • Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), data modeling, query optimization
  • SQL and analytics tools for performance assessment
  • CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing, code review
  • Computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, system design)
  • Go (golang) and GCP (preferred)
