About this role

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Developer Infrastructure to design and operate foundational platform services used across engineering teams. You'll own critical systems spanning CI/CD, deployment, and test infrastructure, driving measurable improvements in build speed, deploy safety, and test reliability at scale.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and operate core developer-infrastructure services including CI, build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure
  • Drive measurable improvements to build/CI wall time, deploy speed and safety, and test feedback time and flakiness
  • Own services end-to-end including SLOs, observability, and on-call responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering teams across Coinbase to identify pain points and translate them into platform improvements
  • Lead technical design for ambitious cross-cutting projects through to production
  • Ensure systems meet financial-grade reliability and security standards
