About this role

Cologix, a major North American data center and interconnection platform operator, is hiring an IT Systems DevOps Engineer for their Lakeland, FL location. You'll support infrastructure operations across their 45+ edge and hyperscale data centers while maintaining the systems that serve nearly 2,000 customers.

What you'll do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management systems
  • Monitor and optimize data center IT systems and network performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across multiple locations
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
  • Support 710+ networks and 360+ cloud providers interconnected through the platform

  • DevOps and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent)
  • Linux/Unix system administration
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Networking fundamentals and data center operations
