About this role
Courier Health seeks a Business Intelligence Engineer to own the BI layer for a healthcare patient engagement platform. You'll design and maintain Sigma dashboards, develop dbt models and SQL transformations, and partner with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights for internal teams and clients.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain Sigma dashboards and workbooks for embedded in-product analytics
- Develop dbt models and SQL transformations with tests to create reliable, documented datasets for reporting
- Partner with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders to define metrics and scope reporting needs
- Define and maintain a consistent semantic layer with shared metrics and naming conventions
- Monitor data pipelines, investigate data quality issues, and add upstream quality checks
- Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, trustworthy visualizations
