About this role

Dark Wolf seeks a DevOps Engineer (mid or senior level) to build and maintain a Kubernetes-based DevSecOps Platform as a Service for a DoD customer. You'll deploy services across on-prem and cloud environments, implement security hardening, automate infrastructure, and support developer teams while ensuring DoD compliance.

What you'll do

  • Deploy and maintain Kubernetes platforms across multiple environments and classification levels
  • Implement infrastructure automation using IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD best practices
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on system hardening and configuration management
  • Provide developer onboarding support and expand platform capabilities
  • Ensure compliance with DoD policies and support backup/disaster recovery planning
  • Mentor junior engineers and monitor platform security and performance

  • Kubernetes administration and security (5+ or 10+ years)
  • Linux server administration (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • CI/CD automation (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)
  • Identity Management and SSO (OIDC, SAML)
  • Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python)
  • Container technologies (Docker, cri-o, containerd)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Security scanning tools (SonarQube, Neuvector, PrismaCloud)
