About this role
Datadog seeks a Partner Technology Solutions Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact for third-party developers building integrations on the Integration Developer Platform (IDP). You'll guide partners through the entire integration lifecycle, combining deep technical troubleshooting with consulting and platform advocacy to shape the Datadog marketplace ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Advise partners on technical architecture including OAuth flows, log pipelines, OpenTelemetry, and agent vs. API-based configurations
- Conduct architectural assessments and code reviews for partner integrations in repositories, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Resolve complex technical issues for partners through Zendesk, Slack, and dedicated consultations
- Identify and communicate friction points in the IDP to internal Product and Engineering teams
- Maintain developer documentation and internal tracking systems (JIRA) for transparency and scalability
- Guide partners from initial design through final marketplace publication
