About this role

Data Systems Analysts seeks a TS/SCI-cleared Software Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for cloud-native DoD applications in AWS GovCloud. The role combines manual testing expertise with automated test development using Cypress, requiring close collaboration with developers, DevSecOps teams, and security professionals.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop automated test suites using Cypress for web applications built with React, TypeScript, and Python
  • Perform manual and automated testing across UI, APIs, and end-to-end workflows while validating functionality and accessibility
  • Execute regression, smoke, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities
  • Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and validate deployments in AWS GovCloud environments
  • Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps teams to establish quality standards and acceptance criteria within Agile cycles
  • Document test strategies, defects, quality metrics, and communicate technical findings to diverse stakeholders
