About this role
A government contractor seeks a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes-based Unified Data Services (UDS) environments across hybrid cloud infrastructures for defense and federal customers. The role combines hands-on platform engineering with customer-facing technical support, training, and process optimization.
What you'll do
- Deploy and manage UDS environments across AWS EKS, Azure AKS, and on-premises Kubernetes clusters
- Build and maintain custom UDS packages and application-specific modules for streamlined customer deployments
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform or OpenTofu for environment provisioning and configuration
- Provide primary technical support to customers, including architecture guidance, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution
- Create and deliver technical training content for customers covering platform features and deployment best practices
- Gather customer feedback and operational data to identify improvements and drive process optimization

Benefits
