About this role
A U.S. government contractor seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to design and maintain cloud-native production environments using Kubernetes. You'll bridge application development and platform teams, automate infrastructure, and ensure solutions meet security and business requirements in a remote role requiring an active Secret clearance.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based production environments with infrastructure-as-code automation
- Validate that solutions align with business requirements and platform standards
- Independently identify and solve technical problems across platform and application integration
- Serve as liaison between application development teams and production environment teams
- Estimate effort for medium-sized tasks and support project planning
- Implement security automation and DevSecOps practices in compliance with DoD standards
