Solutions Engineer
About this role
Diligent seeks a Solutions Engineer to support sales of its GRC platform by leading pre-sales activities for mid-market opportunities, delivering tailored demos, and translating customer risk and audit challenges into compelling solutions. You'll combine domain expertise in governance, risk, and compliance with customer-facing storytelling to drive deal closure while collaborating with senior team members on complex engagements.
What you'll do
- Lead pre-sales lifecycle for small to mid-sized opportunities, partnering with Sales to guide customers through GRC solution discovery and evaluation
- Deliver tailored software demonstrations that articulate business value and address customer pain points across risk, audit, and control workflows
- Conduct structured discovery sessions, map requirements to Diligent solutions, and define POC success criteria independently with senior SE guidance
- Engage stakeholders across Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Governance teams, escalating complex topics to senior SEs as needed
- Design and present solution architectures aligned with customer objectives and regulatory environments, articulating cross-platform value
- Maintain demo and sandbox environments, configure solutions for customer use cases, and gather product feedback for the team
