About this role

Wyetech seeks an Application Engineer 3 to design and maintain software tools supporting federal government customers, with focus on NiFi engineering, system security automation, and 24/7 operational support. The role combines software development, quality assurance, and team coordination within a secure, clearance-required environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement software tools and subsystems for software reuse and domain analysis
  • Manage software development lifecycle including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Support NiFi engineering and customer onboarding with health monitoring and operational coordination
  • Develop automation capabilities for security evaluation and authorization processes
  • Estimate software costs and schedules; review existing programs for optimization
  • Supervise and direct work of junior technical personnel and conduct quality assurance reviews
