About this role

DoorDash Labs seeks a Software Integration Engineer to manage cross-subsystem interfaces on autonomous delivery robots, bridging firmware, networking, OS, and autonomy software layers. You'll design integration tests, create provisioning tools, and lead system-level debugging across hardware and software boundaries in a fast-moving robotics team.

What you'll do

  • Debug and resolve system-level issues that cross subsystem boundaries
  • Design and maintain integration tests and test procedures for robot subsystems
  • Support early integration of new sensors and software components by identifying risks and dependencies
  • Build mission-readiness checks and validation procedures for manufacturing and field operations
  • Create tools, checks, and documentation for manufacturing, validation, field service, and fleet operations teams
  • Collaborate with electrical, hardware, firmware, and autonomy engineers on new functionality
