Software Engineer (Gen AI)

About this role

EarnIn is seeking a Software Engineer to build AI-powered financial products that help users access their earnings in real-time. You'll own features end-to-end, working with modern generative AI tools and collaborating across product and ML teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

What you'll do

• Build and ship agent-driven chatbots and GenAI workflows with measurable customer impact
• Own features end-to-end from concept through implementation, evaluation, and impact measurement
• Work hands-on with modern AI development tools like Cursor and Claude-style assistants
• Collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams in a fast-moving environment
• Identify problems proactively and iterate on how the team builds with AI
• Design reliable, maintainable systems with thoughtful architecture

• Software engineering fundamentals and system design
• 3+ years professional software development experience
• AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs)
• Writing reliable, maintainable, durable code
