About this role
Echodyne is hiring a Mechanical Engineer II to design radar enclosures and integrated systems for solid-state radar products used in autonomous vehicles, drones, and infrastructure security. You'll lead mechanical design from concept through production, performing CAD work, thermal and structural analysis, and vendor management.
What you'll do
- Design radar enclosures and PCBA integration systems
- Perform thermal, structural, and modal analysis using FEA simulation
- Create detailed engineering drawings and CAD designs in Solidworks
- Support integration and field-testing activities for MESA-based products
- Manage fabrication vendors from prototype through production
- Conduct tolerance analysis and trade studies for complex assemblies
