About this role
Echodyne is hiring a System Verification and Test Engineer II to design and execute comprehensive testing of solid-state radar systems for autonomous vehicles, drones, and critical infrastructure applications. The role combines hands-on verification testing, UAS piloting and team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet rigorous performance standards.
What you'll do
- Design, plan, and execute verification and user acceptance testing of radar subsystems and equipment
- Lead small teams of UAS pilots in field testing while ensuring safe flight operations
- Coordinate with product, research, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective test campaigns
- Develop and deploy specialized test equipment for verification testing
- Collect test data, document results, and provide detailed feedback on hardware, software, and user experience issues
- Operate Uncrewed Aerial Systems and contribute to UAS operations and safety team leadership
