About this role
Epic Games seeks an experienced AI Programmer to develop and maintain gameplay AI systems for Fortnite Battle Royale. You'll collaborate with designers and artists to create innovative AI features, prototype mechanics, and optimize systems across all supported platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and iterate on gameplay AI features in collaboration with art and design teams
- Build and maintain core AI systems within the Fortnite AI ecosystem
- Prototype and experiment with game design using rapid iteration while maintaining strong architecture
- Partner with engine AI developers to enhance and improve AI systems
- Optimize performance and resolve bugs in existing gameplay AI systems
- Ensure high-quality user experiences across all supported platforms
