Build document-parsing features for Firecrawl's core API, transforming PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets, and scanned files into clean, LLM-ready data. Own features end-to-end from concept through production, obsessing over developer experience and shipping real product that thousands of developers use daily.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship document-parsing features from idea to production
  • Ensure reliability and quality of parsed output across multiple file formats including messy and scanned documents
  • Solve complex problems like layout detection, table structure recognition, reading order, and OCR routing
  • Collaborate with engineering team on roadmap decisions and technical tradeoffs
  • Engage with GitHub issues and developer feedback to drive product priorities
  • Dogfood the product and iterate based on real-world usage patterns
