About this role

Relativity Space seeks an Avionics System Integration Engineer II to design and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop testbeds for the Terran R rocket's avionics subsystems. You'll collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop simulation platforms, oversee system integration, and execute verification/validation testing to support vehicle development and launch operations.

What you'll do

  • Design and build Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) testbeds for vehicle mission simulations
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to define simulation platform requirements
  • Oversee integration of avionics electrical systems, simulation hardware/software, and support equipment
  • Develop, document, and execute avionics system verification and validation plans
  • Conduct and drive data reviews for V&V testing on HITL platforms
  • Support vehicle software releases and Run-for-Record testing on HITL systems
