About this role
Fluidstack seeks a BIM Engineer for R&D to build and maintain coordinated multi-discipline models for large-scale AI data center infrastructure. You'll manage clash detection, automate modeling workflows, and drive model-derived deliverables while working at the frontier of compute infrastructure deployment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain federated BIM models integrating mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines
- Execute clash detection and coordination, resolving conflicts before model release
- Develop families, templates, and scripts to accelerate modeling processes
- Generate drawings and schedules directly from models rather than manual redrawing
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure model accuracy and completeness
- Establish and improve BIM standards across projects
