About this role
Fluidstack is seeking a senior Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and commission SCADA/BMS/EPMS systems for large-scale AI data center infrastructure across the US and Europe. You'll lead control system architectures for chilled water, HVAC, and power monitoring while mentoring junior engineers and managing complex greenfield deployments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement data center control systems including chilled water, HVAC, power monitoring, and data hall monitoring
- Develop control system architectures, functional specifications, P&IDs, and detailed system designs
- Program and configure PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMIs to meet project requirements
- Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT), construction, and commissioning at greenfield deployments
- Create standard SOOs, specifications, sensor installation details, and design templates
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on the controls team
