Electrical Engineer

About this role

Graphcore, an AI computing leader within SoftBank Group, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design innovative hardware systems for AI/ML applications at their new Austin campus. You'll develop schematics and PCB layouts for server hardware, collaborating across teams to ensure designs move efficiently from concept to production.

What you'll do

• Develop electrical schematics and design multilayer PCB layouts for printed circuit assemblies
• Lead design for manufacturability (DFM), assembly (DFA), and testability (DFT) initiatives
• Support prototype builds, board bring-up, debugging, and validation testing
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to cross-functional partners
• Manage design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain documentation, revision control, and engineering change management (ECO/ECN)
