About this role

Fluidstack seeks a Controls Systems Engineer to deploy and commission building management, SCADA, and energy management systems across utility-scale AI data center sites. You'll own the transition from engineering design to live operations, troubleshooting integration issues, running acceptance tests, and establishing repeatable deployment standards to ensure reliable handoff to operations teams.

What you'll do

  • Deploy and commission BMS, SCADA, and EPMS systems at data center sites through FAT, field integration, loop checks, and acceptance testing
  • Support operational reliability of live control systems by responding to alerts, diagnosing failures, and implementing preventive fixes
  • Resolve field integration issues between control system layers and mechanical/electrical systems during commissioning
  • Configure and verify control sequences, alarm setpoints, and data historian integrations against operational requirements
  • Develop commissioning checklists, acceptance test procedures, and runbooks to standardize future deployments
  • Travel to deployment and operations sites up to 50% of the time
