About this role

Fluidstack is seeking a Counsel for Infrastructure to build and lead the legal function for a massive AI compute data center buildout. This role involves structuring complex commercial agreements across supply chain and procurement, managing negotiations with sophisticated partners, and serving as strategic legal counsel to business leaders—all while maintaining the speed and judgment that will define how gigawatt-scale infrastructure operates.

What you'll do

  • Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements for data center supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations with sophisticated counterparties while balancing legal risk against business speed requirements
  • Manage and oversee outside counsel across multiple legal disciplines with rigor on scope, quality, and cost
  • Cross-functional coordination with supply chain, procurement, and delivery teams to prevent deal stalls and drive transactions forward
  • Provide strategic legal advice to business leaders, anticipating legal and commercial issues before they escalate
  • Build legal and compliance systems and standards for a company deploying gigawatts of compute infrastructure
