About this role

Fluidstack seeks a Development Engineer to own the infrastructure and automation platform for their rapidly scaling AI compute data centers. You'll design and operate the containerized telemetry stack, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems that enable gigawatt-scale facility automation and deployment at unprecedented speed.

What you'll do

  • Design and manage cluster architecture, deployment configuration, and operational reliability for the Facility Software Automation platform
  • Own containerization workflows and CI/CD pipelines for telemetry services, enabling fast and safe production deployments without manual intervention
  • Build and maintain the observability layer including Prometheus monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to catch telemetry issues early
  • Establish infrastructure-as-code standards to ensure all environment changes are version-controlled, reviewed, and auditable
  • Partner directly with engineers to move new telemetry services from development to production-ready deployment
  • Ensure telemetry data integrity and pipeline health as the foundation for facility automation decisions
