About this role
Fluidstack is seeking a Qualification Engineer to execute hardware testing and validation programs for AI compute infrastructure. You'll own test benches, manage failure documentation, and maintain lab operations while supporting the deployment of large-scale data center infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Execute qualification test plans for compute and rack hardware, collecting and documenting results
- Build and maintain test benches including cabling, instrumentation, and environmental controls
- Log and triage hardware failures with clear symptom capture and reproducible steps
- Manage lab inventory, equipment calibration, and facility readiness before hardware arrival
- Ensure test validity and escalate issues with supporting evidence
- Operate server-class hardware safely following proper handling protocols
