About this role

Fluxergy, an in vitro diagnostics company, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronic systems for innovative point-of-care diagnostic platforms. You'll own hardware projects across the full development lifecycle—from schematic and PCB design through production—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a regulated medical device environment.

What you'll do

  • Design electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and system architectures; review designs for compliance and manufacturability
  • Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to develop integrated electronic systems
  • Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
  • Design and implement PCBA test fixtures and functional test procedures for manufacturing
  • Support hardware bring-up, design verification, system integration, and prototype builds through production
  • Create technical documentation including design specs, verification protocols, and engineering reports

  • Analog and digital circuit design
  • PCB design using Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD software
  • Embedded systems and microcontroller development (I2C, SPI, UART interfaces)
  • Hardware debugging and lab equipment operation
  • PCB manufacturing and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
  • FDA compliance and medical device standards
  • Cross-functional communication and project ownership
  • STM32 microcontroller development (preferred)
