About this role

Formlabs seeks an Embedded Software Intern to develop firmware and embedded applications for 3D printing hardware. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to write C++ code, conduct hardware integration testing, and ship features used by thousands of customers worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement embedded software applications from inception to release
  • Write and test C++ firmware for custom hardware and microcontroller systems
  • Debug low-level code across microcontrollers and embedded Linux platforms
  • Conduct hands-on software-hardware integration testing with physical devices
  • Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to enhance product user experience
  • Contribute to codebases serving thousands of Formlabs printer customers
