About this role

Formlabs seeks a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to lead the integration of firmware and hardware for advanced 3D printing systems, including SLA and SLS technologies. You'll manage the full product development lifecycle from R&D through production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system performance and quality.

What you'll do

  • Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into cohesive products, managing prototypes through development and optimization
  • Collaborate with system architects to document system architecture, subsystem interfaces, and data flows
  • Define control algorithms and design electro-mechanical subsystems to meet specifications
  • Manage system and subsystem requirements, tracking changes throughout development
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate requirements and analyze performance data
  • Debug system-level issues and recommend corrective actions to improve performance
