About this role
Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Java Software Engineer to design and develop mission-critical geospatial microservices and APIs using modern cloud-native architectures. You'll work on complex data processing, ETL pipelines, and visualization solutions while modernizing enterprise capabilities through containerized services and DevSecOps practices.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java microservices with geospatial functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable software solutions
- Lead technical design and implementation of geospatial features aligned with architecture and mission objectives
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure code quality and best practices
- Integrate with relational and NoSQL data stores for complex geospatial data processing
