About this role
This System Engineer 2 role supports mission-critical enterprise applications across government, focusing on sustainment and modernization of education, learning, and training systems. You'll provide systems engineering leadership to a team managing application lifecycle support while collaborating with software engineers, cloud experts, and DevSecOps professionals.
What you'll do
- Conduct process evaluations of corporate enterprise applications to identify improvement and optimization opportunities
- Ensure adherence to enterprise process standards for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Provide system engineering leadership to lifecycle sustainment and modernization teams
- Support modernization of legacy systems and automation of business processes
- Collaborate with software engineering, cloud computing, and DevSecOps experts
- Help deliver solutions that improve efficiency and enhance user experience across government enterprise
