Front-End Platform Developer
About this role
Geneva Trading seeks a Front-End Platform Developer to design and maintain internal trading systems, dashboards, and tools that support traders and risk teams. You'll work with C# and real-time data processing to build high-performance desktop applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain internal dashboards, toolsets, and backing services for Trading, Support, and Risk teams
- Develop and extend the frontend trading platform and supporting APIs, including trade entry and management tools
- Partner with traders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through testing, monitoring, and refactoring
- Support production systems and collaborate directly with end-users on iterative improvements
- Manage concurrent development initiatives while communicating with senior leadership

- C# (.NET or .NET Framework) for desktop applications
- Real-time data processing (TCP, multicast, high-throughput feeds)
- UI development with large, rapidly updating datasets
- Multithreading, lock-free patterns, and performance profiling
- SQL and database design
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Performance optimization and system reliability
