Gotion seeks a Structural Engineer to design and analyze structural systems for advanced battery manufacturing facilities and energy storage infrastructure in Irvine. The role involves steel and concrete design, code compliance, multidisciplinary collaboration, and construction support for industrial projects.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze structural systems for manufacturing facilities, laboratories, warehouses, and utility infrastructure
- Perform structural calculations for steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation systems per applicable building codes
- Develop engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and calculation packages for new construction and modifications
- Coordinate structural requirements with civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams
- Review vendor and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Support design and installation of equipment foundations, mezzanines, platforms, and industrial structures
