Applied AI Engineer

About this role

Gradial seeks an Applied AI Engineer to build next-generation agentic systems that automate marketing operations. You'll design autonomous agents that interact with APIs, browsers, and codebases while developing frameworks for continuous learning and improvement using LLMs and reinforcement learning.

What you'll do

• Build autonomous and semi-autonomous agent workflows that handle complex content operations across APIs, browsers, and codebases
• Evaluate model behavior in production and pioneer reinforcement learning approaches for end-to-end agent systems
• Design modular frameworks for tools, memory, and evaluators to enable agent learning and improvement
• Develop data pipelines to collect, transform, and annotate usage data for SFT and RL training
• Create proprietary agent libraries, prompting strategies, and benchmarking frameworks
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand edge cases and align AI behaviors with user needs
