About this role
Join the Rivian-Volkswagen joint venture as a Systems Architecture Engineer to design the software and electrical architecture for next-generation electric vehicles. What you'll do
- Analyze and advance network architecture, topology, and behavior for current and future vehicles
- Define and decompose functional and performance requirements across sub-systems
- Design scalable system architecture with optimal function allocation across hardware and software
- Conduct trade studies and modeling to evaluate design feasibility and limits
- Perform system analysis to identify strengths, drawbacks, and optimization opportunities
- Interface with multiple functional domains to shape technology roadmaps
