About this role

Hadrian seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and scale a pilot battery pack assembly line from concept to production-ready operations. You'll own process development, fixturing, tooling, and quality across cell joining, module assembly, and pack integration while partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and document assembly processes for cell intake, module build, busbar assembly, thermal management, and potting/sealing
  • Support cell joining process development (laser, ultrasonic, resistance welding) including parameter validation and qualification builds
  • Design fixturing, stations, and tooling for the pilot line with future automation in mind
  • Write work instructions, process control plans, and standard work for assembly operations
  • Run root cause analysis and corrective actions on process issues, yield losses, and equipment problems
  • Support electrical test, formation, characterization, and pack-level acceptance testing; implement traceability and lot control
