About this role
Hadrian seeks a Process Development Engineer to lead additive manufacturing process optimization and automation for aerospace and defense applications. You'll own parameter development, in-process monitoring, and software tool creation to scale metal additive capabilities beyond traditional constraints.
What you'll do
- Lead process and parameter development for metal additive manufacturing, executing DOEs to define process windows
- Drive adoption of in situ monitoring, statistical process control, and digital traceability systems
- Build or evaluate software tools to accelerate parameter development and process automation
- Design automated workflows to validate and implement new processes efficiently
- Serve as technical resource for part-specific parameter needs and platform challenges
- Collaborate with materials, applications, systems, and software engineering teams on process rollout
