About this role
Harbinger, an innovative EV manufacturer, seeks an MES & Ignition Developer to build real-time dashboards and automated reporting solutions that transform manufacturing data into operational insights. You'll design plant-floor interfaces, integrate Siemens OpCenter with Ignition, and work cross-functionally to solve production visibility challenges in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop real-time Ignition dashboards displaying production KPIs, OEE, throughput, downtime, and quality metrics for operators and leadership
- Build automated daily production and quality reporting using Ignition's Reporting Module
- Configure event-driven alerts and notifications for production faults, quality deviations, and critical conditions
- Integrate Ignition with Siemens OpCenter and manufacturing data sources using SQL and relational databases
- Write Python/Jython scripts to support custom logic, data manipulation, and automated workflows
- Monitor Ignition gateway performance, user access, security, and troubleshoot system connectivity issues
