About this role
Wizards of the Coast seeks a Data Platform Engineer to build and maintain shared infrastructure supporting data engineers, analytics engineers, and ML teams. You'll work with Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, and Terraform while learning from senior engineers and taking ownership of platform components.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain shared platform infrastructure including data pipeline frameworks, templates, and developer tooling
- Support administration and operations of Databricks and Snowflake platforms, including monitoring, access management, and performance optimization
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for data platform components following established standards
- Support streaming infrastructure maintenance and monitoring using Kafka and related tooling
- Monitor platform health, respond to alerts, and participate in incident response under senior guidance
- Collaborate with data, analytics, and ML teams to understand needs and translate them into platform improvements
