About this role

Havoc is hiring a Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for autonomous surface vessels and autonomy systems, from lab integration through real-world sea trials. What you'll do

  • Develop and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, software, and integrated ASV systems
  • Test and validate autonomy algorithms, sensors, navigation, communications, and vehicle behaviors in maritime environments
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, networking, and mechanical interfaces
  • Capture, analyze, and report telemetry and sensor data to evaluate system performance
  • Deploy to coastal and offshore environments to support dockside testing, sea trials, and field operations
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate new capabilities, payloads, and system updates
