Test Engineer III
About this role
HeartFlow seeks a Test Engineer III to build and maintain automated end-to-end test coverage for regulated AI-driven cardiac imaging software. You'll execute system testing and post-deployment verification using modern frameworks like Selenium and Playwright, while actively exploring AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate the team's automation strategy in a medical device QMS environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain end-to-end automated tests across UI, API, and backend services following technical direction
- Explore and evaluate AI-assisted test automation techniques including self-healing locators and generative test design
- Execute post-deployment verification activities including production smoke tests and environment monitoring
- Develop UI automation using Selenium and Playwright and API-level tests using REST Assured, Postman, or Karate
- Investigate test failures, file defect reports, and partner with developers to resolve issues
- Contribute to test plans, protocols, and regulatory documentation meeting QMS requirements
