About this role

Humanoid is seeking an IT Office Support Engineer to establish and manage IT infrastructure at their Boston office, supporting a technical team of robotics engineers. You'll be the primary IT contact for the office and lab, handling user support, endpoint management via JumpCloud, hardware procurement, and AV systems while partnering closely with engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • Provide L1/L2 IT support to engineers and staff, resolving issues across laptops, workstations, lab equipment, and meeting rooms
  • Lead JumpCloud MDM rollout including device enrollment, policy configuration, and compliance verification for Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints
  • Manage IT hardware procurement, vendor coordination, and maintain accurate asset inventory in Jira Assets
  • Troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment and conferencing systems (Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams) across meeting rooms
  • Perform basic networking tasks including patching, VLAN assignment, and port testing; support office and lab network infrastructure
  • Identify recurring issues and proactively propose improvements to IT processes and infrastructure
