About this role
Hunter Douglas seeks an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing operations at their Broomfield facility by designing efficient layouts, improving process flows, and establishing accurate labor requirements. This role partners with Operations and Continuous Improvement teams to drive safety, quality, and delivery performance while supporting new product launches and operational excellence.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize plant layouts, process flows, and material handling strategies
- Conduct time studies and establish labor standards and capacity requirements
- Lead process improvement initiatives using data-driven analysis and methodologies
- Support new product launches and manufacturing scale-up efforts
- Partner with Operations and Engineering teams on safety and quality improvements
- Monitor and analyze productivity metrics to identify optimization opportunities
