About this role
Hunter Douglas seeks a Launch Engineer to lead cross-functional teams through new product manufacturing launches, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. You'll manage process development, timelines, and budgets while coordinating supplier chains and validating manufacturing processes from inception through production handover.
What you'll do
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement launch timelines, milestones, and deliverables within budget
- Develop standard work procedures that ensure employee safety, product quality, and process efficiency
- Coordinate process development and efficiency during launch and 30 days post-SOP with Engineering and Operations teams
- Participate in PFMEA development and reviews to prevent quality issues and reduce costs
- Manage supply chain coordination and validate packaging design with packaging centers of excellence
- Support LV1 and LV2 validation events and oversee ECN implementation during launches
