Forward Deployed Engineer
About this role
Istari seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within aerospace and defense customers, writing production code and architecting integrations that connect complex engineering workflows to their platform. You'll operate as both builder and problem-solver in mission-critical environments, working alongside program managers to deliver technical solutions in unstructured, high-stakes settings.
What you'll do
- Write production code and architect integrations connecting CAD, CFD, and FEM pipelines to Istari's platform
- Solve technical problems at the intersection of digital engineering workflows and customer operations
- Enable cross-discipline and cross-clearance collaboration within customer organizations
- Work embedded within customer teams while maintaining connection to Istari's product and engineering core
- Collaborate with embedded Program Managers to handle complex customer requirements
- Drive product improvements based on real-world deployment insights
