About this role
IXL Learning seeks new graduate software engineers to develop educational products used by millions globally. You'll work across full-stack development—from backend services to mobile and web interfaces—using modern technologies like Java, Python, TypeScript, and React, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in their Raleigh, NC office.
What you'll do
- Build backend systems, application logic, and user interfaces for educational products
- Design and implement features across the full development lifecycle—from design through testing and optimization
- Own projects from conception to deployment in a fast-paced development environment
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to create solutions for global student and teacher users
- Work with diverse technology stacks including Java, Python, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Participate in code review, debugging, and performance tuning
